The Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers Association of the United States (Big “I”) recently announced the appointment of Kasey Connors as the executive director of the Agency Technology Board (ACT). Connors has over 15 years of experience in non-profit organization leadership and digital innovation. Since joining Big “I” in 2017, he has served as the Vice President of Marketing and Operations at Trusted Choice® and participated in the Invest talent education program for the insurance industry. She will succeed the former executive director Chris Cline and promote technological cooperation and innovation in the industry.
Willis Towers Watson appointed Scott Van Slyck as Senior Director of Technology Sales and Kate Gingras as Executive Director of Strategy for Insurance Advisory and Technology Business (ICT). Van Slyck has 20 years of experience in insurtech sales and has worked for enterprises such as Semsee. Gingras focuses on cooperation in the global enterprise software and insurance markets. The two will be based in Raleigh and Boston respectively to assist the ICT Americas team in driving business growth.
