The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has officially revoked the registration of EFU Health Insurance Limited. This decision aligns with the approved scheme of arrangement that will see EFU Health Insurance amalgamated with EFU Life Assurance Limited.
According to a statement from the SECP, EFU Health Insurance Limited is no longer permitted to conduct insurance operations within Pakistan. Under the terms of the amalgamation, EFU Life Assurance Limited will assume responsibility for all ongoing business activities and liabilities previously managed by EFU Health Insurance Limited.
Policyholders previously covered by EFU Health Insurance Limited are advised to direct any claims or address any issues regarding their insurance policies to EFU Life Assurance Limited.
