Erie Insurance is currently facing a major network outage that has disrupted customer access to online accounts and phone-based services, the company confirmed on June 8.
The outage is reportedly impacting all systems, preventing customers from reaching customer service representatives or filing first notices of loss via phone. Matthew Cummings, spokesman for Erie Insurance, stated that all available resources are actively working to assess the situation and restore services as quickly as possible.
Cummings did not provide details on the cause of the outage, whether claims are still being processed, or if company employees have been affected.
