Ping An Insurance has secured the 29th spot on Forbes’ 2024 Global 2000 list, marking a significant achievement for the company. Among global insurance companies, Ping An stands in second place, while it ranks sixth among Chinese firms and holds the top position among China’s insurance companies.
In its recent financial report, Ping An disclosed impressive figures: revenues of $136.1 billion, a profit of $11.78 billion, assets totaling $1.7 trillion, and a market capitalization of $105.5 billion.
The other top-ranking Chinese companies in the Forbes 2024 Global 2000 list include the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), China Construction Bank, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, and PetroChina, with Ping An rounding out this prestigious group.
