Joe Plumeri, a veteran in the Insurance industry and the former CEO of Willis Group, will serve as the chairman of investment bank Insurance Advisory Partners (IAP) and officially take office on September 1st. IAP focuses on the insurance, insurance services and insurtech industries. Plumeri’s joining will help the company enhance its competitiveness and compete with the world’s top investment banks and consulting firms.
Plumeri has extensive experience in the insurance industry. She led Willis Group for over a decade and later joined KKR as a senior advisor. He has a deep connection with IAP and once inspired Tony Ursano, the current managing partner of IAP, to leave Bank of America and establish Willis Capital Markets.
Ursano stated that Plumeri’s joining comes at a crucial stage of IAP’s development, and the company will redefine industry standards through differentiated advice and outstanding services. Plumeri said that she was very glad to join the team to drive the next stage of IAP growth and was optimistic about the company’s future development prospects.
